Odeon Earrings

The Art Deco cinemas of the 1920s and 30s were built at a time of hope, following the horrors of the first world war. After decades as a technical novelty, film had just matured into a mass form of entertainment. The era's architecture did not disappoint. Glamorous theaters were created in virtually any shape imaginable. The creator of Odeon Cinemas purchased an Art Deco theater in 1930 in Birmingham. He loved the style so much he hired the architect of the theater to design his future cinema locations. Odeon eventually became the largest cinema chain in Europe. These hoop stud earrings pay homage to a time when architecture was always looking forward.

These earrings are adorned with crystals from Swarovski®.
