The Golden Records are two phonographic records that were included aboard both Voyager spacecrafts launched in 1977. The records, considered to be a time capsule, contain sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth. They are intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life form, or for future humans, who may find them. The contents of the record were selected for NASA by a committee chaired by Carl Sagan. After about a year, the committee assembled 115 images, a variety of natural sounds, greetings in 55 ancient and modern languages, and music from different cultures and eras. The records also included human sounds, such as footsteps and Carl Sagan's laughter. These vintage inspired drop hoop earrings feature discs depicting the engravings on the Golden Records.

Absolutely adorable! I plan to purchase more for me and my friends!
I absolutely love these. Excellent quality. My absolute favorite Jewelry line!
These gorgeous, intricately detailed earrings are perfectly sized and their unique design catch the eye. Really high quality product that are even better than I imagined!
These are better than expected! They shimmer and dangle beautifully and I’ve already had people recognize them as the Golden Record. Carl Sagan would be proud.
I bought these earrings for my daughter who loves science, primarily astronomy and paleontology. She is not a fan of the actual Golden Record, but she does appreciate it as a piece of jewellery. She thinks that the earrings are unearthly with a cosmically retro vibe. Richly golden and beautifully detailed. Not too big or too small. A real treat for someone interested in astronomy or astrophysics.
