Count Dracula is an undead, centuries-old vampire and Transylvanian nobleman who inhabits a decaying castle. Unlike the vampires of Eastern European folklore, which are portrayed as corpse-like creatures, Dracula is handsome and charismatic.

During the day, when he is resting, it is described as a death-like sleep. His eyes are open, unable to waken and also may be unaware of the presence of any trespasser. He requires Transylvanian soil to be entombed within his coffin in order to successfully rest and restore his strength.

This Victorian inspired coffin necklace opens to depict an enamel bed with a white crystal pillow and a wall sign reminding you to “rest your bones.” 18in chain with an additional 2in extension chain.

I got this to symbolize grieving and afterlife of my cat. She brought so much joy for 19 years, to the parts of me that were hurt from my childhood, so when she left I had to grieve all of that! It’s gorgeous and I love it. Life is full of processing and grieving and I think it’s a perfect symbol to the reality of truth and beyond.
